How to play
- Wrap the main prize, then wrap it again and again with one small treat between each layer, one layer per child.
- Children sit in a circle and pass the parcel along while the music plays.
- When the music stops, the child holding it removes one layer and keeps what is inside.
- The person running the music makes sure every child gets one turn to unwrap.
Who wins
The child who takes off the last layer wins the main prize.
Variations
A silly task written on each layer; a "pass in the other direction" note; for toddlers, give each child their own small parcel.
Safety: Adult supervision required. For under-3s, no small treats, balloons or small toys inside the layers (choking risk). Check sweets for allergens. Collect the paper as you go.
