Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Party Lineup app and partylineup.com do with information. They are run by Smart Apps LLC, Fort Mill, South Carolina (“we”). Questions: support@partylineup.com.
Short version: there’s no account. Your parties, lists and printables stay on your phone. Phone games keep the code, the calls and the names guests type, and are deleted automatically within a day. We don’t sell data, show ads or track you across apps or websites.
What stays on your phone
Parties you plan (name, occasion, date, guest count, games), supplies ticks, printables you make, names you type into the team picker, random picker or scoreboard, your usage counts for plan limits, and that you accepted the safety agreement. These are stored only on your device. We can’t see them. Deleting the app deletes them.
Printables are made on your phone. When you print or share one, it goes only where you send it (your printer or the app you choose).
App ID
The app creates a random ID the first time it opens and keeps it in your phone’s secure storage, so it survives a reinstall. It isn’t linked to your name, email or Apple account. You can see it in Your plan. We use it so support can find a problem you report, to apply plan limits fairly, and, once plans are on sale, to check your plan when you start a phone game.
Phone games
When a host starts a phone game, our server (run on Cloudflare) keeps: the game code, the game type and title, the numbers or words called, the settings needed to make each guest’s ticket, and for each guest the display name they type, a random guest ID their browser makes, and their claims and wins. Guests’ marks are kept in their own browser.
All of this is deleted automatically 24 hours after the game starts, or 2 hours after the host ends it, whichever is sooner. We don’t ask guests for anything except a display name, and we don’t use cookies or tracking on the game pages.
To stop abuse, our server limits how many games can be started from one internet address. Cloudflare processes the address to do this and keeps short-lived service logs under its own policy. We don’t keep or analyse the address.
Purchases
Plans are sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your card details. When plans go on sale, we use RevenueCat to check what you bought; it receives your app ID and Apple’s purchase record, not your name or email.
Links to shops
Supplies lists can link to Amazon. If you open a link, Amazon’s own privacy policy applies to what you do there. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases; Amazon tells us about orders in total, not who bought what.
If you contact us
When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, message and, if you give it, your app ID. We use them only to answer you, and keep them in our support inbox for as long as needed to help you, then delete them on request. The form is sent through Cloudflare to our inbox; it isn’t stored on the website.
This website
partylineup.com doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising, and loads nothing from other companies. Cloudflare, which hosts it, keeps standard service logs under its own policy.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent personal information, or share it for advertising.
- We don’t show ads or use advertising or analytics tools in the app.
- We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- We don’t create accounts or ask for your email, contacts, location, photos or microphone.
Service providers
- Apple: the App Store, payments and AirPrint.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and the phone games.
- RevenueCat: checks purchases, once plans are on sale.
If we add features that send content to another provider (for example, AI suggestions), we’ll update this policy and say so in the app before they launch.
Children
Party Lineup is for adults planning parties and isn’t directed at children under 13. Children may play the games under adult supervision. Guests joining a phone game type only a display name, which is deleted with the game. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Your rights and deleting data
Most data never leaves your phone; delete the app to remove it. Phone game data deletes itself within a day. Depending on where you live (for example California, the UK, the EU or India), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Email support@partylineup.com with your app ID or the game code, and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Where data is processed
We’re based in the United States. Cloudflare serves the site and games from data centres around the world.
Changes
We’ll update this page and the date above when this policy changes, and tell you in the app about important changes.
